Program Considerations
- The Preparer Info tab in the Options is where you can enter one preparer. This information does not transfer from the tax program when you import/export clients. However, your Firm Information such as Firm Name, etc., will appear here when you open the Tax Planner.
- The View Options tab in the Options is where you can determine the appearance of the program with respect to items that appear at the various tabs such as toolbars and the worksheet list.
- The Fonts and Colors selection on the Settings menu is where you can choose which fonts and colors are used in the Tax Planner.
- The Plan Information box is where you can modify the type of plan, as well as client information for the taxpayer, spouse, and dependents. When using the Case/Year Analysis, you can check the Single base year box to set up one scenario to use as the base year for all cases, which provides a more efficient worksheet view. There is a maximum of 10 for the number of years and cases that you can use in a plan.
