I040 Returns Filed with Form 8801:
Certain returns filed with the Lacerte program prior to the
March 17, 2010, release (version 30.0317) assumed that a portion
of the “Minimum tax credit carryover” (Screen 39, Code 30) was from

or may not be correct. This issue was resolved in the March 17,

on March 25, 2010, that helps you identify which returns may have

New York Fiduciary E-File
Mandate Exception
New York Fiduciary: New York
has issued a mandatory e-file requirement for all return types filed
beginning on January 1, 2010. Lacerte does not support 1041 (Fiduciary)
e-filing for TY09. There is an exception for the e-file mandate
for 1041 customers for TY09. If customers have purchased software
that does not support e-filing for 1041, they will be able to still
paper file this form for TY09. For more information, please view
the KB
Article.
