Contest Rules for "How I Save Time with QuickBooks® and Lacerte®"

Contest Rules

• NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: Open to legal residents of the U.S., 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Entrants must be physically located in the United States. Entrants must have Internet access and an e-mail address by announcement date of contest. The contest begins on or after Monday, December 8, 2008, and the offer will conclude on Wednesday, April 15, 2009. The online survey is the official entry form for the contest. Limit one entry per e-mail address. Void where prohibited.
• TO ENTER: Complete the official entry form. Entry form will include some survey questions. You will be asked to provide your name, phone number and e-mail address. The answers to the survey questions will be used to help us understand industry needs. All online entries must be received by 11:59 PM Pacific Time on Wednesday, April 15, 2009. Prize drawing to be held on or about Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Please note that winners are chosen by votes of other visitors to the Contest Website, and entries toward the end of the contest may not have the same chances of accruing votes as entries made toward the beginning of the contest.
• Sponsors assume no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Web site visitors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest. Sponsors reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this contest should a computer virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsors corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the contest. Any attempt by an individual to deliberately damage any Web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Sponsors reserve the right to seek damages from any such contestant to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• PRIZES: Prizes are awarded on the basis of votes at the Contest Website and compliance with Official Rules. There will be five winners. The winner with the highest number of votes will receive one (1) Grand Prize consisting of one thousand dollars ($1,000) cash. The two (2) winners with the next highest number of votes will each win one of our second prizes, five hundred dollars ($500) cash. The next two (2) winners with the next highest number of votes will one of our third prizes, two hundred fifty dollars ($250) cash. The Sponsors reserve the right to pay winners by check, American Express Check, or American Express Gift Card. The winning entries will be selected on the basis of votes received as registered on the Contest Website. The winners will be notified by e-mail. The winners are required to respond with complete notification e-mail within five (5) Days of notification date on the e-mail or an alternate winner will be selected. All applicable taxes are the responsibility of the winners. Prizes are not transferable. No prize substitutions. Odds of winning based on the number of qualified entries received. Limit one prize per business.
• CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Employees of Intuit Inc., BazaarVoice, Decipher Inc., sponsors, its agencies, distributors, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and affiliated companies, participating advertisers and media, employees, their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. All federal, state and local laws apply. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Entrant recognizes and agrees that contact information will be made available only to Sponsors. Entrant's feedback becomes the property of Intuit Inc. and may be used by Intuit for any research, publicity or marketing purpose without acknowledgment or further compensation. Entrants recognize that the Contest Website includes a Release Form and completion of the Release Form is a condition of entry and winning. Winners agree to release and hold harmless Intuit Inc., its agencies, employees from injury, death, loss or other liability that may arise from the acceptance or use of any prize or their participation in this promotion.
• WINNERS LIST: The names of the prizewinners can be found by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to Decipher Inc., Attn: INT-LT-2009 Contest, 5250 N. Palm Ave. Suite 220, Fresno, CA 93704. Requests must be received by Friday, July 11, 2009. The prizewinners agree to let Sponsors publicize their names with further identification by city and state.
