Lacerte Trial Balance Utility is now available to current Lacerte tax customers.

The product resides within the tax program so there’s no additional software to order. It is delivered via a web download directly into the 2006 tax program so you can start using it immediately.

Lacerte Trial Balance Utility requires a separately purchased license, but with the latest update all Lacerte users can get three trial uses for free.

To try the Lacerte Trial Balance product for free, please follow these instructions:

1. Go into the Lacerte tax program.
2. Click on the Tools tab at the top of the screen.
3. Click on Lacerte Updates in the Tools drop down menu. This will automatically connect to Lacerte to begin the download process.

Once you enter the Lacerte Trial Balance Utility, you will see a pop up window alerting you to how many free trials you have left, counting down from three.
